Default tow light problem

The factory 7 pin on my Larado has no left blinker signal, I think the wire running to the plug is fine Because it does give me power for the brake light, which in on the same terminal pin in the plug. I have opened up the plug housing, all connections are tight and clean, I have checked all my fuses and flasher relay.

What am I missing? Where does the Jeep mate the brake and turn signals? I found similar colored wires at the PCM (tan with a light green tracer). I have been testing with a lighted probe tester.

There is an adaptor behind the trim panel behind the spare tire to convert the two light turn/brake light that your Jeep has into a single light turn/brake light like most trailers have. That could be the problem.

Thumbs up Factoty defect

Thanks for the location tip! I pulled of the wall panel and found a set of 3 flasher relay type objects, one clicked loudly for the right turn, but the one for the Left turn (indicated by wire color) was silent. Upon closer inspection I found that the connector on the power side of the pig tail had no wire to supply power from the mulit-function switch on the steering colum! Not displaced, forgot to plug in, corroded, loose or just pulled out some how, it was never installed! The connector on the pig tail side (terminal #4) had a wire, but the the other half of the connector (terminal #4) was blank! I vampired one in and now have working trailer lights. Let the Vacation begin!

Welcome to CF. That's odd, one wire missing from the harness. Glad you found it though, and have it fixed.
Have a nice vacation.
