tie rod right side

Default tie rod right side

Hi, i need to replace tie rod right side, then i need to replace the entire draglink, correct? Its a 93 ZJ 4.0, I think i will replave the left side to. Should i replace it all with some new better stuff, and what?

Do you wheel it? If so upgrade to a V8 Grand cherokee tie rod, adjuster sleeve, and tie rod end. If the rod ends on the drag link are bad then yes, replace those as well.

If its a road only Jeep, I'd replace with quality Moog parts.

Regardless if you wheel or not.

Buy a tie rod, adjuster sleeve, and the 2nd TRE from a V8 ZJ Tie rod.

Much stronger than stock.

FWIW the drag links are the same.

Do you bend alot of tie rods on the street?

If they are both the same price sure, but I'd save myself the cash if possible.

Except it was when I was 15 and was driving an accord, demolished the entire passenger side front end.
