throttle cable slack

i have a lot of slack in the throttle cable up at the TB and im sure its not helping with my throttle response so i was wondering how i would go about tightening it up?

I used 1/8" poly tubing. It's better if you pull the slack out at the gas pedal but not too much that you're actually engaging the throttle body. Measure how much slack you have and cut your tubing. Then cut a slit along the length of the tube and slip it over the excess. Secure the tube in place with small zip ties.
