Default Thermostat.

Hey everyone, I am having trouble replacing the thermostat housing on a 2016 jeep Cherokee latitude. Any ideas or tutorials on how to replace. There are four bolts that secure it to the engine block I have 3 of the 4 bolts off so I am almost there. Can someone lead me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure exactly why you can't get the fourth? Something in the way? too tight?

There is another pipe that’s goes to the back side of the block that is right in the way of the last bolt. That’s where my issue is. Is there another part I would be able to take off to access it

This will help us. I am not personally familiar with this motor and maybe someone else here who knows more can help you out. But if you could add a picture of what you are dealing with it would help greatly.

i just replaced that pipe but dont recall a bolt behind it. any case, if you need to remove the pipe you will have to bend it carefully up so that it can rotate clear of the valve cover while using an end wrench to unscrew it.

What is it? A heater system pipe? EGR pipe?
