96 Jeep Cherokee Country, 6 Cly 2 WD, 167k miles

I'm experiencing a temporary loss of power - very brief, less than a second but multiple times. Happens for the first several minutes after start up. Stops and engine runs normally after driving several miles.

Any hints on problem from this brief description? Fuel filter last changes 20k miles back - concerned it could be fuel pump.

Wrong section bro, this section is for Grand Cherokee's. Anyways i think you're right about the fuel, the pump might be going out.
