I think the cause of my VIC "rear lamp failure" message is the shotty wiring the PO did for a trailer. All my lights work, and I removed my VIC anyway, but I would rather not have a hacked up harness back there and risk getting water and god knows what else into the wiring and causing more problems down the road, so Im going to get a new pair or harness' from the junkyard. My questions are
1. are all ZJ harness' the same? will any year/trim level work?
2. what tools are required to remove it? I know theres 1 or 2 connectors inside behind the panels, and those panels are held on by phillips screws, and the 10mm bolts that hold the tail lights on, but other than that, it should all disconnect by hand right?
