t case problems

i have a 96 grand cherokee limited awd. when shifting to 4low it pops out some times is this normal with a manual t case i dont know its my first one

it could just need the linkage adjusted, or maybe shift fork is bad

What he said. Check linkage adjustment. It may be not fully ingaged.
