symptoms of bad torque converter solenoid?
Can someone please explain to me the symptoms of a torque converter solenoid going bad? My jeep when shifted into gear will exhibit a rumbling or slight vibration. However, when shifted out of gear it goes away. THe jeep seems to shift fine going through gears and I haven't noticed any slipage. Also, the trans fluid is clean and nice and red. I really hope it isn't my torque converter going out.

I have this as well, someone help this guy and the rest out, I was talking to one of my automotive teachers and he was telling me it could be the torque converter not locking up correctly? Still not sure, wish I could help you man.
