suspension question
Hello, I just bought my first jeep and have to save it is the best so far. I do have a couple little problems to figure out but hay its not brand-new. I do have a question about the suspension though.
I have a bar in the front of the Cherokee, it looks to be a suspension bar as there is two of them going from side to side. Both bars seem to have some sort of a tie rod on both ends. I hope this is clear to understand. Now on those bars the bottom one is very firm will not wiggle, but the top one has play and wiggled some. I do notice when I drive I have a little extra play in the steering. Especially on the higher mph range. I notice when driving on hwy an turning you have to compensate a little to stay in your lane.
A for the jeep it is a 2003 Cherokee Laredo 4x4 with straight six and auto trans. The jeep is very clean as I am second owner and the couple before me were a older couple. I know they took care of it because it drives like it is brand-new even with the suspension problems.
Any onsite on the bar would be helpful, I just want to make sure it is safe for my kid an me. Anyway thanks in advance, I do have pictures just not sure on how to load them.
