You should replace the shocks, even with a 2 inch BB. I have heard of people that don't replace them and they wear out quickly. Brake lines will be fine at 2 inches. 30 inch tires will rub at stock height. 235/75/15 are about the largest you can go with no rubbing.2 inches of lift will allow 30's. This is with no trimming.

I just bought some stock rims that look like yours. Which look better than what mine did lol. But I got the rims and tires for $150 and I got a/t on it with some good rubber on them. Found them on craigslist. It took me about a month to find them. And I know what you mean about cheap. I remember when I was 16 and parents had all control it seemed like and I was trying to build on my MX-3. It took me a long time. But I found that if you just save money instead of being in a hurry you will get better parts and it will look alot better. And if you do alot of your own work you will love your jeep even more. Oh and dont let anybody tell you your work dont look any good. They dont know the heart and soul you put into it. You also might be able to go to a salvage and find a wrecked jeep or one with a blown motor and find some rims and tries. At least the rims anyways. Or any other parts at that. You will be surprised what people throw away. But if you go to do any major work on it make sure you have a lil extra cash and time. Cuz every thing you put on you will never know if anything will go wrong or you have to get a extra part. Good luck to ya. Keep us updated on all your work.

i was hesitant to get my 30's but im glad i did...if you dont mind minor rubbing its worth it by far...
did you decide on anything else you want to do besides tires?
