Default Steering wheel vibrating at 55+. Tried everything

96 zj limited 5.2. So my steering wheels vibrates when I hit 55 and goes away at around 65. I have replaced front rotors, all brake pads, rotated and balanced tires and got an alignment done all in the last 6 months. I checked for play in the front tires ( to see if play is In tie rod or wheel bearings) and nothing is loose.
My drivers side front tire makes a squealing noise when braking and when I took my rotor to the shop they said it was warped. I bought a new rotor and the braking noise is still there. I think it might be my rims because although they were balanced they are all chipped up.
Any opinions on what else it could be or how to find out what is making it vibrate?

this may not be your problem, but if rim bolts are torqued too much over time they wear down the rim (behind the bolt nut) and this thins the metal, and may make the rim spin crooked or from vibrations the nuts may even unscrew themselves (happened to my ford contour)

Thanks, that sound reasonable because the rims are stock. Do you think a shop would throw on some new tires and rims just so I could see if that's what's causing the vibrations?

My ZJ has a vibration at 55 to 59mph, new tires, alignment, everything is new and tight in the front end. I'm just going to live with it. My front passenger seat shakes pretty bad from it though and I hate that.

brakes are only going to make it shimmy/pulsate when you apply the brakes. You should try rotating the tires and see if it goes away , could be a flat spot in the tire.

Had the same problem. Thought something was loose in front end and even though I need new shocks, just put new tires on the old gal and guess what.No more death wobble @ 55 mph.
