Yes and no, for the most part if you have a wondering issue there is something else going out. Mine had a wondering issue than I found the steering box was sloppy.
The stabilizer will help a little but look for the real problem don't band-aid it....

i'm hoping it is the steering box, and i can adjust it. but idk.
and it doesn't wonder like your thinking. it's just hard to keep it straight b/c of the sloppiness in the steering. since the response is so bad it's hard to get it to correct. of it it does i'll over correct it... that type of thing.
can i adjust the steering box? and how?

There's a link on here under a Death Wobble.. I'll see if I can find it.

Also, inspected the shaft under the hood from the fire-wall to the steering box. The U-joints in it can break/ware causing the same prob. If that is the case you have to replace the shaft, ($90-$125) ..

If you do this, I suggest removing the electric fan, 2 screws at top of support.
Gives ALOT of room for the adjustment.
Keep in mind: Better to adjust on the safe side (NOT ENOUGH) than TOO MUCH, as too much can actually cause the box to wear faster or in worst-case scenerio-->fail (stop working).

Will a steering stabilizer cause a vibration at high way speeds around 70 mph, and not at lower speeds? I just got a 1998 Cherokee Sport 4X4, and have inspected all the steering and suspension parts. It drives smooth on city streets even at around 60 mph, but when I get on the high way it has a vibration at around 70 mph and above.
Thanks,

I had mine on my 2000 WJ disconnected for a week and didn't notice any difference in handling what so ever.
