Default Starting after sitting for a while

Recently I tried to start my 2000 GC Laredo. It will turn over, but will not start. I have researched online and the most common result is to replace the crank position sensor. Battery is charged, starter is in good working condition. Any suggestions? Can the plugs go bad sitting and possibly create this issue?

Don

the only way ive ever heard of a spark plug go bad from sitting is when the engine was tipped upside down and the plug got loaded up with oil. (this was a lawn mower)

Probably not the plugs. How long was it sitting before you tried to start it? If it was several days, or weeks, my first guess would be a fuel flow problem. Do you know how to check to see if it is getting spark to the plugs? That would be the first thing I would do.

It seems it takes a while for a newbie to get a reply. My post has been up for 2 days.
