Default 2006 Jeep Not Pushing as Hard as before

Hey guys,

I have an issue with my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD 4.7. I remember when I bought it used 2 years ago at 102 000 miles I would press the gas and the thing flew, the throttle felt nice and stiff. Now I press on it and it feels as if it drags. I should also tell you that I have never changed the diff fluids, transfer case fluids, transmission oil, and pretty much anything else. I drive about 7000 miles/year as well and am at 118 000 miles now.

What do you guys think? Why isnt the acceleration as good and stiff as it used to be?

Change the plugs, air filter, service the transmission, clean the throttle body, put a can of Seafoam in the gas tank, and check the air in the tires.

It certainly would not hurt to service it as posted above, but the first thing I would check is the air filter.

I don't understand what you mean by stiff acceleration.
