Default Start for 3 seconds/stalls

Please help. I have had an on going problem with my 02 grand. It will
start right up and shut down after approx 3 seconds. See similar problems
posted and have never really read about a common fix. This is my second
go around as I had the same problem with a 99 grand and the stereo was
causing a start/stall issue.. Change the stereo and everything good on that one. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

It could be in theft mode, the owners manual may have some info on how to reset it.

Do you have a transponder key?
Is there any light on the dash like a key w/slash through it?
