Hi a have a 2000 grand Cherokee with the 4.7L I was driving and it stalled then died pulled code for crank sensor put a new sensor in same thing this time I had codes for pcm Internal Failure so I put a new pcm in same thing when it dies my scanner won’t Communicate, fuel gauge reads on Empty, volt gauge reads 0, and my cooling fan runs after it sits for a couple hours it will start and run but for only 5 or 10 minutes any help is Appreciated thanks
This sounds like it could be a ground issue or a bad short to ground. Check all grounds, with a multi-meter if you have one. Check your fuses but don't replace anything, just see if some of them are blown. unplug any aftermarket crap like stereo amps or lights you have installed.
