My 94' turns off on me in the mornings when I shift from R to D. Once I get running its fine. Anyone have an idea where to start?

Could be the neutral safety switch, Idk what other things would cause that

When the trans was rebuilt the shop said they could not find a nss for my jeep because it was a part yhat had been upgraded by jeep and not available so they reused the old one. I ll look into that. Thanks!

is it a 304 0r 360 if so there a bulliton by jeep for exssive timming chain stretch
it cause the distrbuter to send bad signal to the compuitor and it stalls
