Default Stalling issue

At low RPMs and speed my 96 ZJ stalls out every so often. Most often this occurs when I am coasting to a stop. Also if I start it up and shift into drive quickly it will also stall sometimes. Any ideas? Seems like it's occurring more often as time goes on.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. Once I get some spare time I'll check it all out. I guess it's also notable to add that on starting it or letting off the gas pedal while driving, my RPMs will drop significantly, sometimes even 0 on the tach. Is that probably due to the same stuff?

It's probably your Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve, find it, clean it good with Carn/Choke cleaner. That should fix it. Plus, it only costs you a few bucks (for the Carb/Choke Cleaner).

'nother thing to check is vaccumm lines, check 'em all for leaks, they can cause some funny idle issues, usually it's erattic or high idle though.

At either rate, I would clean the IAC.
