spitting and spurting

spitting and spurting
my 97 is spitting and spurting every time I start the 4.0 for about 2 min and stops. I ran codes and nothing poped up. im thinking dirty fuel rail ? I need to get this stuff fixed before collage

If it was a dirty fuel rail, it would be constant. You may have some sticky injectors that need heat to free up.

Do what Busted did. Get them from the boneyard. He mentioned something about cargo pockets?
