Talking Spark Plug Question??

Hello people, I was wondering what is the best spark plug for my ZJ inline 6? I had a friend tell me about the E3 plugs, or stay with champion. I just want excellent performance and reliability. I just put in a msd coil and wow what a difference! thank for your help.

The old 4.0 seems to do best with basic copper core plugs.
Stick with Champion, NGK or even Autolites.

X2. Especially if you are increasing the voltage. the E3 plugs may be fine, but if you go to an iridium plug with the fine tips the higher voltage tends to "weld" the metal and create pits. they also focus the spark kernel, rather than spread it out like a plug that has more surface area, like with a cheap plug.

"X2" means "times 2" or "ditto" lol.

I stick with the original champion plugs. They work great.

also,...just to add, simple is better when taking these things out. they have their electrical issues and when you are miles from a paved road a simple system is easier to troubleshoot than a complicated one.
