Default snapped a power steering line off

I snapped the line off the back of the power steering resevoir, is replacing it my only option or could I install a barbed fitting into the resevoir and re-attach the hose

I did some thing. Had to buy new one. The bottom line it is too short and when you try to sling on side it breaks off. I put longer hose.

I was afraid of that, and I can't find a resevoir without buying the whole pump

I bough reservoir in O`rally auto parts. I do not remember how much was, but was less that $20. Try NAPA too. My have to wait for order. Junkyard my have it. I think that reservoir it is standard for most of cars, but I ma not sure of it. They have 2 versions with nipple toward the back or toward the side. Make sure that you get the right one or you will have to extend the hose.
