Smells hot
My 99 Cherokee smells hot after about 2-3 minutes of operation. All of the fluid levels are good and there are no leaks. Air filter is clean and it even has a new radiator. The engine looks clean and no road or fluid build up can be seen. Anyone else have this problem?

I could be your catalytic converters warming up. It will smell strange if your fuel has a lot of sulfur in it. The convertors on the 99 are right on the end of the manifolds.

I can check the converters. The smell is there pretty much the whole time the car is on after the 2-3 min timeframe. I fill it up using 87 unleaded from Chevron. The radiator is 7 months old...

heater core leaked on mine but never enough to make a puddle anywhere. i noticed it was stronger when i turned on the heat... if it smells like antifreeze inside the car im sure thats it..
