i picked up a 96 GC with a 6" lift but it did not come with a slip yoke eliminator installed. judging the battle scares, the guy obviously did some off roading so he never thought he needed it. i have read that any lift about 4" should have a SYE installed, i am guessing its because the drive shaft is not long enough and may pop out?
second part if the question is, where is an inexpensive place to order one? and will i also need a drive line paired with it or does it come as part of the kit?
Thanks much!

My 97 with the 242 didn't have a slip yoke. The driveshaft mounted to the t/case on a flange. The slip part was in the shaft itself.
