Sill molding replacement

Sill molding replacement
2009 grand Cherokee limited. Broke sill molding below rocker on passenger side that runs from front to back wheel well. Need to replace it. Can find diagrams but seems to be attached by rivets. Any suggestions on removal of remaining piece and installing new sill molding. I am a new DIY guy.
