I encountered a severe shaking issue yesterday. I was going approx 55 on the highway when my 97 zj started shaking violently. I pulled over and checked out the ujoints and steering real quick. Everything was tight. I got back on the highway. As soon as I reached 45mph the vehicle started shaking again. I immediately through the transmission into neutral. The shaking completely stopped

Loose big tie rod end that goes from the pitman arm to the right knuckle, and the track bar and steering stabilizer bolt into.
Of course everything else under the sun is possible with the dreaded death wobble, recommend a through front end check, but after doing everything else this made the biggest difference for me. Which makes a total rebuild of my front end.
