For the second time in two weeks my GC has blown the 15 amp fuel injector fuse
For the second time in two weeks my GC has blown the 15 amp fuel injector fuse. From the limited time I have to read, most possible causes would be failing fuel injectors or a wire(s) beginning to corrode. Replacing the injectors seems reasonably straight forward and easy to replace but trying to locate a corroding wire(s) seems intuitive. I didn’t notice any obvious signs of corrosion of visible wires when I looked over the engine. But I really don’t know where to focus.
I don’t mind throwing money at this (within reason) to quickly resolve the problem. I need this up and running ASAP. My GC has 126,000 miles so I figure replacing a set of 8 fuel injectors is appropriate.
But where and what is the best method to find corroded wires and what wires from where should I look for?
Thank you,
Jim
