Today the left front corner of my drivers side seat bracket broke in half...After doing some researchit seems as though this is a common problem. I was wondering if it is possible to switch the drivers side and passenger side seats. My drivers side has power and the passenger side does not.

 

Sure just unbolt them from the mounting brackets which are different.

Thanks for the info...Does it make any difference that the driver side is a power seat and the passenger is not? Will the bracket still bolt up? I am having trouble finding a replacment and Dealer wants 1000 bucks to fix it. If I cant find one soon can you reccommend a good aftermarket place?

 

On my '04 the seat controls are on the outside of the seat bottom on both seats. Since only your drivers side is power adjustable, you will have to either remove the switches and let them hang or just unplug them. The power motors are in the mounting bracket that attaches to the floor and that bracket is different from side to side.
Is your seat broke or the mounting bracket?
The seats will switch but the floor brackets won't.
