I notice that a lot of threads and people mention seafoam. What exactly does it do for your jeep? And how do you use it. Sorry if its a nooby question

 

Look it up on youtube tells you exactly how to do it, you gotta be careful though because you can seriously screw up the motor if you do it wrong.
Its basically used to clean out built up carbon and things in your motor

 

Is it hard to do?

 

hmm.. a 1/3 can in the fuel tank when empty, then fill the fuel tank to mix it in nicely and itll clean out your fuel injectors, valves, etc...

1/3 in the oil will clean out your oil passages and remove sludge buildup and such

and 1/3 in the brake booster line, im not exactly sure what that does that the other two dont do.. but in all it cleans the inside of the engine to like new condition again

downsides are, if you have holes anywhere plugged by sludge, itll start leaking once its cleaned up.. im going to seafoam mine once im done with the headlight resurfacing and fixing or replacing the o2 sensor
