Given the age and possible mileage and number of brake jobs, I would say its possible that all 4 corners are bad. Even if one on each axle is bad, its best to replace as pairs per axle. If your looking at a rotor replacement/brake job, consider doing it yourself because it doesn't get any easier than that. The specs should be stamped/casted into the rotor or drum, usually its on the back side requiring removal to see specs, but here they are.

Front rotors:
Minimum Thickness 0.890 in.
Thickness Variation (Parallelism) 0.0005 in.
Runout (TIR) 0.005 in.

Rear rotors
Minimum Thickness 0.374 in.
Thickness Variation (Parallelism) 0.0010 in.
Runout (TIR) 0.005 in.

Rear drums
9" drum, maximum finished diameter 9.06"
10" drum, maximum finished diameter 10.06"

Do you know how many times a vehicles brakes are check by a state inspector in California every year? None, but there should be some sort of inspection here though other than smog inspections, there are some really unsafe vehicles on the road here.

In NY State, they check one wheel at random annually, and then only for pad condition and rotor cracks or discoloration. The inspectors don't get paid enough to do a complete job so it's whoever does it how intensive it is.

That is alright, I am prob going to have to have a state trooper stop by the place that did it. when they fail you for inspection, they are only allowed to reinspect what they failed you for. but the second list of failure items was longer than the first. So I call bull**** and calling the state to have a trooper go by there with my jeep.

oh yea, the rotors were all borderline, but replaced anyway.
