Roof rack and track removal problem
Hello I am trying to remove the several tracks that run between the roof rack so I an sand and paint the top of my 1987 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. I can remove the two end phillips screws but cant get to the middle one. There is a rubber thing inside the track that slides back and forth but I think I have to remove it to get to middle screw. I was hoping the end caps pop off so I can slide the rubber all the way out but I'm not having any luck. Can anyone please suggest to me what to do?

Laredo is a trim package for the XJ and ZJ. The ZJ was not in production in 1987, 1993 was the first model year for the ZJ.
