Default Repost but not addressed

A few time sitting at a light. The check gauges came on, and the oil gauge bottomed out to zero. Put the car in neutral, and came back to normal.
Any ideas?

Check all your grounds and the connections to the gauge cluster.

Engine: 4.0, new lifters valve job with new springs and exhaust valves, preload set with shims

only a guess, but, alternator could be starting to fail
