Question Replace or rebuild?

Hey all,
When I bought my ZJ, the guy that owned it before me replaced the right front half shaft with a CV joint style half shaft, but didn't replace the driver side. The driver side half shaft is the original u-joint style and the u-joint is shot. I can buy just the u-joint for about $12 and rebuild it, or, spend between $60-100 to buy a re-manufactured half shaft. For me, not having a ton a cash, just rebuilding the u-joint seems the way to go.
My question tho is this...will it make a huge difference if I've got a CV half shaft on one side and a u-joint on the other side? Or should I just replace the whole half shaft all together?
Input or advice greatly appreciated!

I don't think it makes a huge difference, just spend the 12 bucks and replace the bad joint.
