Smile Replace engine light bulb

Hi guys,
The engine light bulb should turn on when I turn the ignition on then it goes off after a couple of seconds...now it does not turn on at all.
Is there are fusible for that bulb that I might need to change?
If not how can I replace the engine light bulb? and what are the tools that I will need?
Thanks

First off Welcome to CF. Next we may need a little more info like what year XJ, Location of light (dash,gauges,etc..), a pic will always help too when asking for help. But if it is in your gauge cluster you must take out the cluster and the bulbs just come out from the back. I doubt there is a fuse just for that one light so if anything else isn't working than it could be a fuse.

My jeep is Laredo 2001.
I think there is no fusible for those bulbs in the dashboard ... I just have to change them.
Can anybody tell me what tools do I need to do this by myself...and how to open the dashboard to change those bulbs.
Thanks guys.
