removing center link from pitman arm
my girlfriends wj has gearbox that is leaking fluid... got one from pullapart but the center link was already detached from wheel so I could not get pitman arm off...then I tryed taking the link of the arm but it wouldnt budge....took out the cotter pin and the nut...is there special tool or trick to this... I just need steering box replaced and the center link off...any help is apreesh! thanks

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
Whack the side of the pitman arm where the drag link is with a good sized ball peen hammer, or go out and get a pickle fork and drive it between the pitman arm and tie rod end.
