Default remote start question

Am a new owner of a 2014 GC Overland. In the setting under remote start I see a function that says heated seats and heated wheel on with remote start. I left these settings on and then started the car with the remote but the seats and the wheel were not on heat. Am I understanding this feature incorrectly?

Read the owners manual and ask the dealer.

I don't know why it is not in the manual that it works only at certain temperatures. below 40F and above 80F. The owners manual is very lacking. It also does not explain the the word AERO that comes on above the temp. gauge in the panel. I assume it means aerodynamic - when the lift system lowers itself automatically at 55mph.

A 2014 Grand Cherokee is too new and too advanced for this forum to help you, sorry.

My 2014 GC Limited will not activate the A/C via remote start. Like you I see the setting to activate the heated seats via remote, but no mention of A/C. Chrysler Tech Support has no suggestions except to see dealer. Since a dealer visit involves two days of inconvenience, I'm thinking it would be easier to try resetting the computer hoping it resets itself on reboot. Anybody know how to do this safely? With all the tech on these vehilces, they're more like a computer on wheels. When in doubt, reboot!
