Rear tail light issue
Hello I have an 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has a computer screen that keeps telling me that the tail lights are not working but are working cause I just got it inspected and I just want to know how to get it to stop giving me a false reading. Cause it is kinda annoying. Can someone help? I also found a green wire hanging out at the back of the jeep could that be it?

If it has the trailer tow package, the lighting harness for the trailer hookup may be the problem. That green wire may be a ground that came loose.
