RB1 issue in '04 Grand Cherokee Overland

RB1 issue in '04 Grand Cherokee Overland
Been lurking for about a year since we got my daughter a '98 GC but now I have a question of my own.
I bought my wife an '04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland last week and it's got the RB1 in it and sometimes it does this weird thing where it takes it anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds to turn on after you start the truck. It appears to be in the display because the radio is working and sound is coming out and the volume **** works but you can't change stations or anything. Then the front display turns on like it's just turning on, ie. you get the JEEP logo first and then everything else is on. It all acts normal and it doesn't do it every time either. Just wondered if any of you that have the RB1 have experienced this before. Many thanks.
