I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport and recently when I get to 45-50mph I hear like a rattling noise, intermittent, any ideas?

From what area? Engine? Suspension? Front? Rear?

I'm really not sure where's it coming from, I think it sounds like under the front maybe by the front wheels. I can't tell though. Its strange because it appears to go away when I go faster than 60-65 mph. I'm sorry I can't tell you much more than that I am a girl though and don't know a lot of technical information.

Its hard enough to try to find rattling noises when you have the vehicle in front of you, its even harder when you're on the computer haha.

Things to look for, you already know the speeds, but see if it duplicates with engine RPM, raise the idle and see if you can hear it, put it in gear with foot on the brake and try that too ( do this carefully and only for a few seconds ). See if the rattle is worse on rough roads, hitting bumps, turning, accelerating etc. Does it sound metallic, dull, or can you feel it.

Things like sway bar end links, ball joints, shocks/bar pins, exhaust, exhaust heat shields and many other things. Is there a chance you had a friend or someone around to let them look at, that might help a lot. I wish I could help more, but there are just too many possibilities and the guess would be difficult without looking at it.
