I Currently Own A 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I Found A Used Tranny For A Good Price, But I Want To Make Sure It Will Fit. I Know It Is Out Of A Jeep Cherokee, But I'm Not Sure What Year. The Guy Says The Numbers On The Side Are 30-43L, And That It Is An Asian-Warner. Can Anyone Help Me Out Please? I Also Have Found A Transmission Out Of A 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo... V6, 4.0L, 4WD... I Know A '97 Would Fit, But Is There A Difference With It Being A Laredo?

The Cherokee transmission won't work and I don't think the 97 ZJ transmission will work either. You need a 42RH transmission, the 97 42RE is electronically controlled.

Alright, thank you so much for your help! After doing some research, It looks like the transmission would have to come out of a 1993-1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After That, they are electric instead of hydraulic. Thank you again!
