Default problem with a/c in a 2004 wj

hello from puerto rico...

im having a problem with my GC it's a 2004 4.0 inline six... the problem is the a/c is not cold is more like cool and only when driving. when i stops at a red light blow a warm air... and the other thing is you can have it in high and the amount of air is not what is use to be. i replace the blowe like 6 months ago but is the same and now only works when running the car.

if someone knows please help.

Sounds like it could be the climate controls, or a combination of issues. Seeing as you recently replaced the blower I would check to make sure the vents are still tight, and no air escaping before it gets to the vent. The only blows cold while driving makes me think your electric fan isn't working, or possibly a very dirty condenser.

thanks for the tip.

the condenser was clean some says that maybe the evaporator, h valve and dryer or it could be the main fan. i just dont know. only cools when running not even cold.

Welcome to CF. Sounds like it may be low on freon. I would have the AC system checked for any leaks, and if none are found, have it recharged with freon.
Read this about the fan/blower motor connector. >->http://www.wjjeeps.com/blower_motor.htm
This may apply if you have the Automatic Zone Control system. >->http://www.wjjeeps.com/climate.htm
