Pre Lift Questions
2002 WJ 4.7v8 133,000 miles
Ok I have my lift 4" lift kit. My truck needs ball joints, shocks Alignment and tires. I will have the ball joints replaced,no need for shocks as a new set came with lift kit. Not planning on going that big on tires. My question is what Parts of the truck underneath/suspension should I have checked or replaced prior to lifting? To avoid problems later on down the line. Thanks for any feedback.

If a new trackbar is not included, check your trackbar bushings.
Also check your tie rod ends, as a bad tie rod can cause a death wobble that will scare the crap out of ya.

Like he said, look into a new track bar, usually people get the JKS adjustable.
Please check the tie rod ends, mine is still damaged and I can feel it even after I installed a Rough Country steering stabilizer. I am lifting mine Tuesday with 2in around. I need a new tie rod end though.
Good luck to you. Happy Jeeping,
Bryan McC.
