I need a power seat motor for a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee.....is there any other vehicles I can get the motor from....the junkyards by my house have numerous suv's....they have a bunch of ford explorers, durangos, and the few Cherokees that they have only range from early 90's up to 97.....the junkyard couldn't tell me if anything interchanged, so I thought if anyone knew, they would be on this site....I tried to search, but can't find anything...don't know if it's cause I'm using phone or just don't know what to enter...

I think 97 to 01 seat motors are the same. You can get a new one from rocktauto.com for $23.99. Part # S2041

 

thanks....the one junkyard by my house is owned by my cousins boyfriends family...i will most likely get the hook up....FREE......LOL.....i really appreciate the response and letting me know that them years will interchange.....thank u

 

Now you're thinking, Creature. Check the one for your vehicle for part number and them search other years for the same part number. After all, it IS rocket science.
