I can set my mirrors and drive around town but when I leave the vehicle parked for a while the passenger side power mirror will be aimed towards the ground when I get back in. Is it the mirror or possibly a trickle charge from the switch? Has anyone else had this issue?

Do you have automatically adjusting seats? They are electrically tied in... When you hit the unlock button on your remote, it accidentally is also inadvertently adjusting your power mirrors for you too.

Try this: watch the mirror while pushing unlock button on your remote.. See if the mirror moves when you do that?

 

The auto seat adjustment #1 and #2 include the rearview mirror as well. It can get stuck, moving itself - the mirror into a downward position like this..

 

Noah, thanks for the post. I got out the owners manual and looked up how to set the memory and you were right. I set the seat and mirrors and now they stay where I set them.I can cross another item off the list.

An update to this thread. My power mirrors went back to moving again. I went to You Pull It and found the right mirrors. Installed them while doing other work a while back and they've worked great since then. Hopefully they'll last a while longer.
