Default Is it possible to change oilseal on TC "on-site"???

Hi, my TC is leaking some oil, i think its from the front output shaft (i will upload some picture later), it dont leak if it stands still, but when driving its look like there has been thrown oil around. Its look like it could have been from the TC, that its missing some gasket and that the internal belt has thrown the oil out, but thats not possible? is it possible to replace the oil seal without taking out the transfer case?? Its a 249

It's just the output shaft seal.

iirc you will need a 1 1/8" socket to break the nut on the yoke loose and reattac it
