Default Poor throttle response

Just got a 2003 Grand Laredo 4.0. 8700 miles. The thing sat for years without use. There is an intermittent problem with the throttle response. Most of the time when i punch it there is nothing and when goin up hill there is very little power. When slowing down at and intersection it will shutter and act like going to stall then stops. New gas filter and air. Svcd transmission. Changed all fluids. Diagnosed a vac leak and replaced 3 of them which fixed the blower mode selector problem. So i figured that was the problem with throttle but still happening tonight. All lines under hood seem fine now. Purge solenoid is clicking loudly but i think that is normal. Exhaust seems ok. No smells anyway. I have yet to clean throttle body or test TPS since ive already put $2300 in it. Any ideas? Please help!!

You may have a restricted exhaust or low fuel pressure.

Cleaned all throttle body and IAC valve today. Was pretty dirty. But still high idle and power issue. Also seems to be more water in exhaust than should be. Water not coolant i tasted it. Gonna smoke test on Tuesday. Would it be injector or TPS??

Water from the exhaust means the catalytic converter is working. It's also a byproduct of combustion.
