Hello im a newbie, and love this site!, I have a 97 grand Cherokee larado with the inline 4.0,.my problem is im in the smokey mountains of tennesse, and its about 25degrees outside.ill let the jeep sit for 2-3 days and it will start right up,and I let it warm up ,go to work (about 11 miles) and after my shift 8hrs later,it starts, but stalls out 2-4 times until I get her warmed up. its frustrating and when you kick on defrost before shes warmed up it also dies ,...any ideas??? ive replaced numerous parts, and have had my jeep for about 2yrs.looking forward to talking with you good people,.. thanks!

Yes it does and you can check it with your scanner while it's running. It's only a variable resistor and is mounted in the intake runner to #1 cylinder just ahead of the throttle body.
With the engine up to temp, mine reads about 155* with the outside air temp around 65*. You can also "ohm" it out. At 32*F, it should be reading around 33,000 ohms, lower at higher temps, higher at lower temps.
