i need some help my rear yoke in my 93 grand cherokee yoke moves about an inch in and about an inch side too side with out the drive shaft in it is it the the iner pinon bearing it had 4 10 gears put in it about 2 years ago if that helps

 

Inch in, inch side to side. That is no good. Needs to be opened up. Something is done.

 

i took it apart and everything looks fine but i found it odd that there was no shims on the pinon could this be my problem.....could who ever put the gears in have done it wrong the ring gear looks great and the pinon also which makes me think that it hasnt been like this very long
