PCM or connection?
I have a 96 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4x4 with a 4.0, and 189,000 mi. The PCM was replaced with a mopar reman about 12,000 mi. ago at the dealer. I took it to a small local shop where he says that he can duplicate the spitting, sputterig and stalling by wiggleing the middle connector at the PCM. Could this PCM be bad now too? The connector appears fine inside. Will a PCM from the junk yard work. what about mileage and vin# programed to the PCM? Any ideas?
