I just got my new jeep and tried out my 4 wheel drive now my part time 4 wheel drive is stuck on..how do i get it off? thanks

 

is the hifter in 2wd...if so pull it into 4 and slam it into 2 and then go in reverse for a while and hit the brakes hard or when u shift it out of 4 let off the gas then after u shift it hit the gas again i forgot the part name but it gets stuck and that helps it i hav to do it occasionally in my zj

 

maybe try lubricating the shifter linkages

 

i tried all that..still no luck..does anyone have a ballpark idea of what this repair might cost..or if i wanna just get 4 wheel drive cut off for now?

 

Are you sure you're actually getting power to all four wheels, and it's not just the dash light that's stuck on?
