I would like to know the best way to resolve this. is it better(cheaper) to get a new hood of the same color from another jeep that someone is parting out? Repaint the whole car? or just get a paint job on the hood?

It's silver. Its not that bad but in the future i'll look into finding a hood. unless i find a cheap one soon

Is it just starting to fade or already past the point of no return? You'll be surprised what waxing or a light rubbing compound can do. Even if you think it's too late waxing might help.
